After starting with a shotgun- specific safety briefing, this course will cover shotgun setup for defensive applications, various shooting positions, and different types of ammunition available for shotguns. Various sighting systems, slings and weapon mounted lights will also be reviewed. The instructors will focus on loading of the shotgun including select loading various types of ammunition, shooting on the move, use in tight quarters, and basic room clearing. We recommend participants bring a support side pouch to hold additional ammunition or BDU/Cargo Style Pants. Eye and Ear Protection is mandatory.
